HEAD COACH
Lee Lansdowne returns to the USPHL Cincinnati Cyclones Organization for his second season as head coach. Lee is a native of Swindon England and is entering his 7th year of coaching junior level hockey.
Lee came to the US in 2001 to play junior hockey, then returned to Europe to play two years at the pro level. Lee then returned to the US and joined the Cincinnati Cyclones ECHL team. While with the Cyclones, he was part of 2 Kelly Cup winning teams.
Lee coached at the Junior A level from 2010-2015 and then returned to coaching with the USPHL Cyclones team for the 2023-24 season. Lee brings not only experience and knowledge as a pro player, but a wealth of goalie and hockey knowledge to the players that he coaches.
Lee believes in player development and advancement. He also believes that it is the organizations jobs to see its players advance to higher levels.
ASSISTANT COACH
Ben Cope returns to the USPHL Cincinnati Cyclones Organization for his second year as an assistant coach.
Coach Cope was born in the Cincinnati area and played in various Cincinnati youth hockey organizations before moving on to play juniors. Coach Cope played 4 years of junior hockey in the NA3HL and USPHL Premier Hockey Leagues, as well as being noted as a 2020 NA3HL top prospect.
In the off season, Coach Cope is the lead coach/trainer for players 7-18 years of age in the Memphis Tennessee area, were the area of focus in on skill progression and overall player game development.
Coach Cope's coaching focus is to provide the players with the best playing experience and training available, while helping them reach their goals of making the next level.
